Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive is interested in hearing from junior funds lawyers, available from August / September for an upcoming client assignment. Your day to day responsibilities may include but will not be limited to: Setting up new trading vehicles, new products, and new funds. Managing internal and external investors - transfers, redemptions, and fund decommissionings. Negotiating IMAs with third-party managers. Assisting with seed deals. Liaising with Compliance, Tax and Finance to manage queries and run audits. Amending fund documentation. Person specification: You are a qualified investment funds lawyer with substantial hedge funds experience. You have experience across Caymen and/or Delaware fund structures. You are accustomed to working in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. You are able to hit the ground running, with a proactive and hands-on approach. You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team. You will be based in or have the ability to travel to London. You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
