Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000

Our client, a leading business in the food and drink industry, is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Quality Manager to join their team and drive continuous improvement across site.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, this is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between technical and quality functions. You'll be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team across your shift, ensuring best-in-class food safety and quality standards, and deputising for the Technical Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the QA team to deliver excellence across food safety and product quality.
-Own and deliver the internal audit schedule; support and prepare for external audits (including BRC and customer audits).
-Champion food safety and quality improvement initiatives site-wide.
-Work closely with the Technical, NPD, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
-Support with customer visits and drive retailer standards across the site.
-Be a key player in root cause analysis, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a similar Quality Manager role within the food manufacturing industry.
-Strong working knowledge of BRCGS and HACCP standards.
-Experience working with major UK retailers - this is essential.
-Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
-Confident, proactive, and collaborative communication style with cross-functional teams.
Salary: 45,0000 - 55,000 (Dependent on Experience)
