The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on and self-reliant IT Manager to take full responsibility for our internal IT systems and infrastructure. This is a standalone role, best suited to an individual confident in managing daily operations independently while coordinating with external service providers for advanced support. You'll be the single point of contact for all IT-related matters across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop company infrastructure, including:
o Servers (virtual and physical)
o Networks (external connectivity, switches, cabling)
o Desktop/laptop deployment and support
o Telephony (mobile and desk systems)
o Software support including Windows OS, MS Office, 3D CAD, DNC/CNC
o ERP system maintenance, development, report designing and troubleshooting
  • Act as the primary liaison with outsourced IT service providers
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to all users
  • Manage system updates, backups, and ensure overall security and performance
  • Produce reports and support data-driven business decisions using ERP system tools
  • Provide remote IT support to USA manufacturing cell
  • Contribute to long-term IT planning and digital strategy

Person Specification:
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, with demonstrable experience in troubleshooting and report creation
  • Broad technical knowledge across server, network, and software environments
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage external relationships
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage
  • Clear communicator with solid organisational skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are advantageous
