Electrical Design Engineer

An opportunity has now arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team, providing technical support to live projects.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Designing electrical upgrades for commercial premises.
• Providing expert advice to clients on new switchgear and low voltage panels/distribution boards.
• Specifying installation requirements for EV charging equipment.
• Developing AC connections for Solar PV systems.
• Designing new electrical equipment and infrastructure for clients.
• Producing design specifications and Invitation to Tender documents.
• Overseeing installations to ensure they meet design criteria and specifications.

In addition to the above, the post also requires someone with strong AutoCAD skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with a solid understanding of electrical systems in commercial environments.
