Job Title: Digital Plate Planner / Digital QC Location: Greater Manchester Hours: Day Shift (8.5 hours inclusive 0.5 hour break), Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime as needed) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Digital Plate Planner / Digital QC operator to join a leading print and packaging company. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to prepare and plan plate files for our production department and quality check files for both Flexographic and Digital printing processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and plan plate digital files and proposals using Esko AE and Flexo Engine. Keep plate waste to a minimum by way of planning and utilising software. QC files to specifications and when required support Output and Artwork functions. You will Ensure all work meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Candidate Requirements: Experience with Esko Automation Engine and workflow systems is highly desirable. Proven experience as either a Digital QC or Reprographics Operator. Skilled in file preparation for both Flexo and Digital printing processes. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Additional Information: The role offers a competitive salary based on experience. Working hours are standard business hours, with flexibility for overtime to support business needs. We are looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join the Supply Planning Team.As one of our Supply Planners you will be responsible for creating a robust supply plan and managing the production flow from our Far East supply base as well as working cross functionally with the wider business to deliver targets. With the bulk of manufacturing taking place in China the company distributes through 6 main warehouses worldwide to retailer customers, distributors and direct to consumers. What you will be doing: Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers about production and delivery timings, advancing or delaying orders to support sales trends and forecasts Order placement to factories for regular replenishment, FOB and new product launches Order placement for components and consumables Manage and communicate purchase forecasts to factories Reviewing out of stock situations or supply issues and recommend mitigating actions Planning container loading with suppliers to ensure effective delivery of stock Producing supplier and business KPI's for management Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies for all finished goods by reviewing weekly purchase order tracking Single point of contact for a range of factories including daily communication, performance tracking, relationship management (including regular phone conferences), development of ways of working to reduce lead-times.
