You will take individual responsibility for a range of project types, manage them independently and be the client's main point of contact. Where appropriate, you will instruct, supervise and mentor junior staff in the design and management of schemes and work with clients to ensure delivery of projects to time and cost, and to help manage change. Due to sustained growth in the sector, my client is seeking to recruit a Senior Clean Water Hydraulic Modeller. Your new role You will have experience within Hydraulic Modelling, working on UK water sector projects. You will have a degree in Engineering/ GIS or similar, and will be either chartered or actively working towards membership of an appropriate institution.You'll be working in a team supporting all other departments across the client organisation, and will be interacting with suppliers and other stakeholders. You'll be responsible for Data analysis and anomaly identification. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will need to have functional experience with water modelling packages including InfoWorks WS Pro. You will be able to use hydraulic models for planning and operational purposes, and have working knowledge of GIS packages e.g. MapInfo / ArcGIS. Your new role You will join the Asset Planning business to support an increasing portfolio and workload. Your main responsibilities will be: Technical and project management of DWMPs and other projects including drainage, option development, SOAF and WFD delivery. Undertake Project Manager role on projects where required Support in the development of Client Relationship with our key Water Company and non-Water Company clients with aim to develop strategic growth. Support in the preparation of bid documents and estimates. Supervision of project teams and supporting the Business Manager in resource planning.
