Lettings Negotiator - Chester

OTE: 28,000- 31,000 Full-Time Permanent Monday to Friday (No Weekend Work)

My client, a well-established and highly regarded estate and lettings agency based in Chester, is seeking a dedicated Lettings Negotiator to join their friendly and experienced team.

This exciting opportunity places you at the centre of a thriving lettings operation, where you will conduct viewings, liaise with landlords and tenants, and negotiate tenancy agreements. You will develop a strong knowledge of the local rental market while offering exceptional service and support throughout the lettings journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Conduct property viewings and provide detailed, professional feedback
  • Negotiate lettings and manage tenancy agreements
  • Register applicants and oversee the referencing process
  • Draft and issue legal documents including tenancy agreements and notices
  • Maintain accurate property records and database entries
  • Write compelling property descriptions for marketing listings
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Assist with property photography, video tours, and marketing content
  • Contribute to the company's social media channels, showcasing the lettings portfolio

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Based in or around the Chester area with local knowledge
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in lettings or sales is preferred but not essential
  • Confident negotiator with a professional manner
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean record
  • Able to build rapport quickly with clients and colleagues
  • Highly motivated, independent, and detail-oriented
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms is a bonus
