Our client based in the North East are looking for a creative and technically skilled Architectural Interior Designer to join their design team. This role bridges architecture and interior design, focusing on the spatial planning, aesthetics, and functionality of interior environments across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on a diverse range of projects across the North East.
- Develop and present interior design concepts that align with architectural intent and client vision.
- Produce detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D visualisations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of interior elements.
- Conduct site visits to oversee design implementation and resolve on-site issues.
- Prepare and manage FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) schedules and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Multi-disciplinary or sector specialist project knowledge with high levels of experience in the technical detailing for Architectural projects and contract running.
- An eye for detail with the ability to develop/review information and drawings for accuracy and suitability.
- Excellent communication and design interpretation skills which allow clients to realise aspirations and deliver on technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong Revit, CAD and manual drawing skills.
