Reporting into the Process Assurance and CI Lead within our Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Team, the Junior Business Process Analyst plays a key role within the Quality and Health and Safety Team, supporting the delivery of MBNL's transformation to an infrastructure manager.
This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with an interest in quality assurance, process improvement, and operational excellence and will support in delivering projects and transformation activities including: Analysing and documenting business processes; Supporting quality, health & safety compliance tracking; Assisting with internal reporting and stakeholder communication. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

What you'll do
• Support the QA team in creating clear and comprehensive audience-appropriate process documentation across all levels of MBNL using the relevant tools and systems
• Collaborate with process owners and key stakeholders to facilitate and lead the identification and modelling of business processes and procedures.
• The facilitation of, or support with, workshops involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and map key process elements including activities, decision points, inputs/outputs, roles and systems involved in existing processes and procedures to develop the 'as-is' process state using standard the MBNL process mapping methodology.
• Using 'as-is' processes, work with owners and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and 'to-be' states identifying efficiencies where possible.
• Map processes using BPMN 2.0 within GBTEC's BIC Process Design, the MBNL BPM tool.
• Identify and document business rules embedded within processes and procedures to ensure accurate decision-making and compliance.
• Document how individual processes connect across the business, enabling a holistic view of operations reflected in the MBNL Process Landscape.
• Document critical handoffs between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure process continuity, accountability, and alignment across the value chain to minimise delays, reduce errors and support service level commitments.
• Support leadership and operational teams in the implementation of processes, the assurance of their processes and potential improvement opportunities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Data Analysis, Quality, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisation skills
• Proactive, keen to learn, and able to apply a common-sense approach to tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
