Manager/VP Product Control- Top Tier Hedge Fund

The team has 3 members, all qualified accountants. Your role will be to supervise and oversee the P&L production, monthly NAV finalisation, core controls, etc. There are also several process improvement projects to own. The team works closely with trading desks, so you will need to be comfortable engaging with Front Office stakeholders, Portfolio Managers, Traders, as well as collaborating with IPV, Risk, Operations, and COO teams.

We are looking for:

• An experienced Product Controller at a major bank or hedge fund with experience of the London market and the right to work in the UK.
• Experience in strategic change initiatives and a strong understanding of robust control environments, preferably with significant experience in Emerging Markets.
• Ability to demonstrate substantial team management experience.

Desirable, but not essential, experience includes:

• Experience with visualization tools, ETL tools, and/or Python.
• Exposure to multiple asset classes.
• Understanding of Valuation Control/IPV processes and NAV accounting.
• Accounting qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.).
• Strong academic qualifications.

You should be an experienced self-starter capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks across various timescales. You will be excited about building a best-in-class Product Control function and leading a high-performing team.
