EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Working in the Water Resources team, you will be an integral part of Severn Trent's Network Control function. This niche specialised team is responsible for creating the daily production plan for our large Water Treatment Works. This simply means that you will be ensuring that there is enough supply in our Strategic Grid, and therefore sufficient treated water available to all our customers. You will also look to ensure that we use a good mix of water sources, so that water is produced at the lowest possible cost.
The team are also responsible for raw water storage management, bulk imports of water, forecasting demand, and coordinating planned works. Ultimately, the team are here to make sure we have enough water to supply to our customers every day of the year - an incredibly important role.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The key accountabilities of this role will include:
You'll have experience of Network Operations, and preferably understanding of the Strategic Grid and Water Treatment processes. You'll be able to analyse data, create reports, engage with stakeholders and make important decisions based on your analysis and rational.
