Internal Works Estimator

Internal Works Estimator Commercial Properties / Building Services 50-60K + Package Refurbishments, quoted projects, upgrades & large emergency repairs.

We are actively recruiting for an Internal Works Estimator / Surveyor who can work alongside our projects team & building fabric repairs team. You will be responsible for visiting client sites, carrying out initial inspection, surveying and estimating works and submitting quotes. Scope of works will be all internal works, ie: refurbishments, upgrades, replacements and large emergency repair works. Values of projects could be from 1,000 - 500,000.

Summary:

• Role: Internal Works Estimator
• Base Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 dependant on experience / qualifications etc.
• Package: Company Car or Car Allowance, 29 days paid annual leave, pension, company phone, discretionary annual bonus etc.
• Location: Head office based in Sutton, South London + travel across client sites / projects across London / South East regions.
• Works: Quoted projects, refurbishments, fit outs, upgrades, replacements, large emergency works - building, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, tiling, plastering etc.
• Environments: Commercial - hospitality & retail: pubs, restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops, gyms etc.
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 5:30pm.

Duties:

• Quoting and estimating project related works for anything over 1,000 in project value.
• Visiting client sites for larger project works, carrying out initial inspection, survey and providing a quote for projected works.
• Submitting quotes within a timely manor in-line with SLAs / KPIs.
• Working across a wide range of projects at any one time, including large emergency repairs, refurbishments, fit-outs, upgrades and similar quoted project works. Values from 1,000 - 500,000.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in a similar quoting / estimating / surveying role previously within commercial environments.
• Must have excellent knowledge of internal works / projects.
• Must be willing to travel to clients sites as and when needed (2-3 days per week).
