Job Title: Business Development and Sales Support Executive

Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Salary: 24,500 - 26,500/year base + discretionary company bonus

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the role:

This varied and rewarding role combines outbound business development, sales support, and account management, ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative B2B service environment.

  • Build quality relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Prepare tailored product quotations based on customer requirements
  • Source and identify new sales opportunities
  • Follow up on customer inquiries that have not yet converted to a sale
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM with leads, opportunities, and activities to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Proactively target market sectors to develop your sales area
  • Generate new inquiries and convert existing projects into live orders
  • Represent the company professionally, showing general interest in products at all times

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a punctual and hardworking individual who enjoys being part of a small, fast-paced team.

  • Track record of delivering high levels of achievement
  • GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Strong customer service ethic with a passion for continuous improvement
  • A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their pipeline and workload
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients, nurturing them professionally
  • Ability to work in a structured way, independently and as a team member, to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in managing and nurturing relationships with potential customers
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm and Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (38 hours per week).
