We are looking to appoint a committed, passionate Director of Studies to manage the delivery of our English programmes at Kaplan International Languages London Bridge 30+. We pride ourselves on providing English teaching which is highly effective and stimulating for our diverse study body. As Director of Studies, you will lead the teaching team to ensure that those high standards are adhered to at all times and that teacher/student ratios are well managed. From induction of new teachers and new students through to professional development sessions, you will work to attract and retain great teachers who will get the very best out of their students and will help us to maintain the excellent rates of recommendation that we enjoy across our schools. What you'll bring to the role Bachelor's degree TEFLQ Status - For example via a DELTA or equivalent Experience in administration work (preferably in an ELT environment) Experience in dealing with and solving complaints Experience in developing learner autonomy Experience in effective student counselling and tutorials Experience in recruitment Experience in student assessment Experience in teacher development and conducting teacher observations What we do Every year, Kaplan International Languages (KIL) helps students from various countries to develop and improve their English language skills.
