Food Tech Teacher Food Technology Teacher required for leading Girls school - Watford, Hertfordshire - January 2023 start - MPS 1-6 - Teaching all Key stage 3 and 4 - ability to support within Textiles or another technology at KS3 an advantage. Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a post starting from January and keen to work in a well-run, professional and high achieving secondary school? Working exclusively on a permanent basis the school are keen to speak with experienced or recently qualified teachers able to offer Food Technology to key stage 3 and 4. Food Technology Teacher able to teach across Key stage 3 and 4, 2nd technology subject advantageous however not essential. Teaching at a high achieving secondary school, Watford Hertfordshire Permanent and / or Long term roles available - paying MPS 1 to 6 (£145.55 to £195.77 per day) Excellent support with technician's, LSA's ongoing CPD and career progression. About the School - Food Technology Teacher This fantastic school has a History of excellence and high achievement, pupils here excel at school and enjoy the challenges of learning and progression. Teaching here is as it should be, full support of SLT, department Heads and clear and concise polices designed with teacher backing, ensure pupils are given the very best opportunity to succeed. Class sizes are between 20-30 and the department utilises a technician and LSA's to support pupils with specific needs. Staff here are happy and stay at the school for an average of 4 years, double the local average. A high percentage of pupils here progress onto Redbrick universities and some onto Oxbridge. Key stage 5 teaching has been offered in previous years depending on staff experience and pupil uptake, this is something the school are keen to explore for the right teacher looking for long term prospects. Role requirements QTS Teacher or unqualified Teacher with Masters level qualification and Class based experience The ability to teach Food Tech to Key stage 3 and 4.
