ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

JOB OVERVIEW

This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering predominantly Aberdeen although our area does cover from Dundee all the way up to Inverness

Their client base include but are not limited to Commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years experience in similar Electrical / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

• Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.

• Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, and pumps.

• Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.

• Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.

• To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.

• Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Approved Electrical Apprenticeship Minimum requirement.

18th Edition Accreditation Essential.

2391 Testing & Inspection Beneficial.
