Senior Full Stack Engineer

40 hours per week, Permanent Role
UK, Remote
£70k - £75k (We're transparent about our salary range - most offers start at the lower end, with room to grow based on performance.)

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you'll play an integral role in our growing company. We're seeking a talented and versatile engineer to join our Engineering Team - Customer Pod and to help build our Web and Mobile platform to support customers in their Reproductive Revolution.

We're looking for a strong people person as this role involves line managing some of our junior engineers.You'll be helping them develop their skills as well as being responsible for delivering new features. We're looking for someone with a good balance of being a great engineer and someone who wants to develop into a leader of our team, rather than being an individual contributor.

We'll want you to plan and scope out work, communicate with our key stakeholders (including product and design) and ensure that code push production is of high quality and to specification.

Your responsibilities

Be a technical leader:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery for new product features and technical issues, including estimation and breakdown.
  • Drive the architecture, planning, and maintenance of critical platform infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Desire to line manage junior developers.
  • Mentor developers via code reviews, pair programming, and acting as a technical point of contact.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Lead technical interviews and contribute to interviewer training.

Lead engineering excellence:

  • Champion and implement improvements in engineering efficiency and tooling.
  • Demonstrate expert command of our core tech stack: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Postgres, React-Native, Terraform, AWS, and Github Actions.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Utilise expert debugging skills with tools like Datadog, ensuring robust error handling.

Collaborate and communicate:

  • Foster clear, effective communication within the engineering team and across the business.
  • Actively engage in discussions, provide technical and pastoral support, and drive adoption of best coding and architectural standards.

Your Team

You will be working and reporting directly to our Head of Engineering - Jack Pickard. You'll also work with the rest of the Engineering Team, the Product and Data teams, our Founders and across our whole business.

Working Hours ️

We are looking for someone to work with us for 40 hours per week. Our operating hours are between 8am and 6pm from Monday to Friday.

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Phone Interview
    A 15-minute conversation with a member of our Talent Team to get to know you better and answer any initial questions.
  2. Behavioral & Values Interview
    A structured interview with Jack Pickard, our Head of Engineering, focusing on your experience and key values relevant to the role.
  3. Task & Discussion
    You'll be asked to complete a task ahead of this interview, and then take part in a post task discussion. This will help us understand your approach and thought process. This will take place with Jack Pickard, our Head of Engineering, Alexandros Spyropoulos, our Technical Lead and Tulsi Patel, our Director of Product who will join at the second half of the interview.
  4. Final Interview
    A final stage 15-minute conversation with Natalie Getreu, our Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer

Start Date: From Monday 1st September 2025
