An excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity awaits a dedicated Production Operative/Team Leader in an Ipswich food production facility. Join a small, experienced team where you'll play a crucial role in leading operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Production Operative/ Team Leader Duties:
- Lead a small team with effective communication to maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Support the training and development of team members
- Communicate effectively across all departments within the business
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products following established recipes and specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines
- Conduct regular checks on equipment, reporting any mechanical issues
Pay & Hours:
- From 13- 14 per hour
- Monday to Friday (primarily Monday-Thursday production, with some Fridays required)

What We're Looking For:
- Confidence in communicating effectively within a team
- Essential basic maths skills for accurate measurements and inventory
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including HACCP, is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment
- Mandatory previous experience in food production or a similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team
