Senior Software Engineer - Commodity Trading - £100,000 - £120,000 + Excellent Benefits - .NET Core / Azure / React
Overview:
Our client, a leading tier one commodities company and an established startup, is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their growing team. The role involves working on exciting greenfield projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop systems supporting the trading function, including a Risk System that connects to multiple exchanges, reads trades in real-time, calculates Risk/PnL, and displays information to traders.
Requirements:
- Strong SQL experience
- Front-end development experience in React, Vue, Angular, or similar
- Strong unit and integration testing experience
- Experience with defect reporting/tracking frameworks like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Experience working in an agile environment with effective communication skills
- Knowledge of common design patterns
- Experience deploying/troubleshooting applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Willingness to work with Python and React, even if not experienced
- Experience in trading or finance domain
- Docker experience
- Experience deploying/troubleshooting applications in Microsoft Azure (SQL Azure, Web Apps, Service Bus)
- Websockets/SignalR experience
- Experience with FIX protocol
