What to Expect in the Role
You'll be helping industrial clients across the UK solve real-world problems around component wear, plant downtime, and equipment life extension. You'll be responsible for identifying where abrasion-resistant solutions can add value and guiding clients from initial contact through to implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and targeting key industries and sites that face high wear issues
- Advising maintenance and engineering teams on wear protection solutions
- Promoting a range of Chrome Carbide and abrasion-resistant materials
- Supporting clients with refurbishment, reverse engineering, and product selection
- Building long-term client relationships and understanding their operational needs
- Pitching technical solutions and managing the full sales cycle
- Generating forecasts, tracking pipeline activity, and achieving growth targets
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and people skills. Specifically, you'll bring:
- A background in industrial maintenance, plant engineering, or similar
- Familiarity with equipment and components prone to high wear or failure
- The ability to speak confidently with engineers, maintenance teams, and decision-makers
- A consultative approach to sales - advising more than selling
- Self-motivation, time management, and a results-oriented mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
