Part-Time Caretaker - Central London - 13 per hour Temp to perm
Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Thursday, 9 am - 12pm - whilst temp & 8am to 12.00pm perm
Are you reliable, hands-on, and ready to keep a busy office running smoothly? My client based in Central London Limited is looking for a Part-Time Caretaker/Stores Assistant to join their Head Office team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the building and shared outside areas, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep to a high standard
Act as keyholder and liaise with contractors, obtaining quotes and ensuring all work meets health & safety standards
Undertake minor internal repairs and maintenance tasks such as shelving, painting, and notice boards
Carry out regular fire safety checks, maintain security and alarm systems, and keep accurate health & safety records
Manage stock control in our stores, including receiving deliveries, maintaining records, packing, and dispatching items
Assist with annual stock takes and keep stock rooms organised
Key Requirements:
Good literacy and numeracy skills with basic computer ability (MS Word/Excel).
Knowledge of health & safety and fire safety regulations.
Basic DIY skills and familiarity with building maintenance and security systems.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, reliability, and good timekeeping.
Ability to set up and maintain computer systems for stock management.
