My Client is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a crucial electrical transmission and distribution project in Central Scotland. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a vital role in the replacement of a 275 kV line, which is a crucial part of the transmission network in the region.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Performing mechanical fitting work on the electrical infrastructure
- Demonstrating expertise as a slinger/signaller or mobile elevated working platform operator
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the successful completion of the project
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the electrical transmission and distribution industry
- Proficiency in operating slinging/signalling equipment or mobile elevated working platforms
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
