Wind Turbine Technician - UK
Location: Field-based - with UK-wide travel
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We're partnering with a leading renewable energy services company that is expanding its operations team and currently seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to support its growing UK portfolio - with a particular focus on small to mid-scale turbines such as the Vestas V27 and similar platforms (225kW-850kW range).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team committed to delivering high-quality service, turbine uptime, and the UK's clean energy transition.

The Role:
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing wind turbines across the UK, with a strong presence in the South East. The role involves extensive travel and regular work in remote areas - ideal for a hands-on technician with strong problem-solving skills and turbine-specific experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on wind turbines

  • Specialise in smaller platforms, particularly the Vestas V27

  • Fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

  • Work on refurbishment, component upgrades, and inspections

  • Provide clear, accurate reporting and follow HSE protocols

  • Travel across the UK with overnight stays as required

? About You:

  • Technically qualified (electrical, mechanical, or renewables)

  • Hands-on experience with Vestas V27 or similar turbine types

  • Comfortable working at height and in remote conditions

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

  • GWO certification desirable (Working at Height, First Aid, etc.)

  • Full UK Driving Licence
