HGV Class 1 Driver (Part Time)

Note: This job is for Kenect Recruitment but will take place at a client's worksite (B78 1TX)

"Want to join our team as a part time HGV1 night driver?"

We're looking for someone who can commute to Tamworth, who is available to work part time night shifts between Sunday and Saturday each week for ongoing regular driving work.

Shift pattern:

• Part time, meaning 2-3-night shifts per week with start times ranging between 20.00 pm and 23.00 pm
• Shift lengths are between 8-10 hours long

Salary:

• 19.20 - 25.15 per hour - plus holiday pay (accrued at a rate of 12.07%)

As a Kenect Recruitment HGV1 Driver, you'll be passionate about high-quality customer service for our valued client and their customers.

Typical responsibilities shall include:

• National trunking deliveries to RDC's (no handball)
• Delivering all items accurately within an agreed timescale
• Refrigerated trailers
• Possible collection on return journey
• Part time meaning 2-3-night shifts per week
• 19.20 - 25.15 per hour - guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift

Requirements:

• Must have held a valid UK LGV1 licence for a minimum of 12 months
• Must be able to commute to Tamworth at least 2-3 nights per week
• Must have no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
• Must be willing to undergo a paid driving assessment and induction prior to starting
