This Architectural Technologist role:
My client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating functional, sustainable designs. As an Architectural Technologist, you will lead and coordinate technical aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that designs are not only beautiful but also compliant, buildable, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to produce coordinated design solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including technical drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on materials, construction methods, and building systems.
- Conduct site inspections and work closely with contractors to ensure that projects are executed according to the design intent and technical requirements.
Requirements for this Architectural Technologist role:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; experience with BIM is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and construction methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and colleagues.
