What you'll be doingWe're looking for a Head of Brand Proposition to lead the charge on shaping what Trainline stands for in the eyes (and hearts) of our customers. You'll define the big-picture vision and drive the strategy behind our global propositions, always rooted in deep insight, always aligned with what customers really want, and always ahead of the curve.
This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker who gets excited about where the market is going and how Trainline can stay two steps ahead.
Your day to day
Set the vision
Own our 3-5 year global proposition strategy keeping it insight-led, customer-first and commercially sharp.
Spot opportunities before others do, partnering with Brand Insights, UX and Data teams to shape game-changing, differentiated propositions.
Ensure local market nuances are baked into everything we build, collaborating closely with our Country Managers.
Drive cross-functional innovation
Bring teams together - Product, Design, Brand and Commercial to embed customer value into our roadmap.
Help shape messaging, testing and go-to-market strategies that break through the noise.
Define success metrics and keep a laser-focus on what's working (and what's not).
Deliver with impact
Build scalable frameworks to guide proposition development and feature marketing.
Partner with Product and Design to bring our propositions to life in-product.
Ensure consistency across every customer touch point from brand to product and everything in between.
Lead & inspire
Coach, develop and grow a high-performing proposition team, starting with one direct report.
Be a trusted voice to senior leaders advising on strategy and positioning across key business priorities.
A strategic thinker with a sharp commercial lens and a deep empathy for the customer
Proven experience leading proposition strategy in a fast-moving, product-led environment
Experience working in a product-led marketing function, with a strong understanding of how to position features and drive adoption
Comfortable working closely with Product and Design teams on roadmap delivery
Strong analytical skills - you turn insight into action, not just slides
Confident presenting with impact to senior stakeholders - including VPs, Directors and the CEO
Experience managing and mentoring a team, and influencing at senior levels
Skilled at balancing multiple priorities without breaking a sweat
Bonus points if you've worked across multiple markets or in a global brand
