We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a social housing retrofit refurbishment contract in Cheltenham. The project involves occupied properties, so a strong background in managing live sites and tenant liaison is essential.
This is a freelance opportunity working with a leading main contractor, with the possibility of further work following successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations on a live social housing retrofit project
Manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to the required quality and safety standards
Liaise with residents and ensure minimal disruption during refurbishment works
Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Conduct and manage site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings
Requirements:
Black CSCS Card
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid at Work Certificate
Asbestos Awareness Certificate
Full UK Driving Licence
DVLA Check Required
Proven experience managing social housing refurbishment or retrofit contracts
Confident in managing live environments with strong communication and coordination skills
