Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council are looking to recruit a Retrofit and Engagement Project Officer to join our team based in Ipswich, Suffolk. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £35,930 per annum (pro rata for part time) + Tool Allowance.
Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered.

We are looking for a Plumber to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team. To be successful, you will share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities.
About the role
This is an opportunity to join the councils new dynamic housing and maintenance team, working on internal and external plumbing repairs and maintenance to occupied properties.
You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for undertaking high quality reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works, across our 7,000 occupied properties.

You will be part of a dedicated team, providing outstanding customer service and excellent standards of performance to the public and tenants of Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils.
A van (for work use only) is provided, equipped with a range of tools, and in addition, a tool allowance is paid.
About you
In addition to having strong technical plumbing skills you will need to have a focused customer service approach and be adaptable and resourceful when working in the team or independently across the districts.
You will need:
A full valid driving licence is essential for this role. A DBS check will also be required.
