We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at 100 Queen's Gate, Curio Collection by Hilton in our luxury hotel in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The Role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel maintenance operations, ensuring all systems and equipment are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations. You'll lead a small team of technicians, manage maintenance budgets, and be a key player in the smooth daily operation of the hotel.

Your main duties include:

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain maintenance logs, schedules, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure minimal downtime of hotel operations.
• Train and lead the maintenance team to ensure top performance and adherence to standards.

About you

In addition to having previous experience in a similar role, our ideal Maintenance Manager is a strong and proactive leader with exceptional attention to detail and a true commitment to the craft.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in hotel or property maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts - including weekends.
