Pay Rate: £100 £135 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive schools in Lenton. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support pupils learning and wellbeing by assisting in classroom activities and providing tailored support where needed.

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to help pupils progress.
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring pupil engagement and reporting any concerns to teachers or senior staff.

The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant role will:

  • Have previous experience working in a school or with children and young people.
  • Be calm, adaptable, and enthusiastic about making a difference in students lives.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Provide a full, up-to-date CV with clear explanations of any employment gaps.
