GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive schools across Nottingham City Centre. This role is ideal for Cover Supervisor (CS), working with young people who are looking to gain classroom experience before entering teacher training.

As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Reporting back to senior staff on student progress and any concerns.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be flexible, confident, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
• Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
