Pay Rate: £100 £135 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting confident and caring Teaching Assistants to work in vibrant and supportive schools located in Long Eaton. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in helping students thrive by supporting teaching staff and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with behaviour management and learning activities.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, offering feedback to teaching staff.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or in school settings is preferred.
  • A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A full, up-to-date CV, with explanations for any employment gap.
