You'll support the Head of Operations to deliver safe, compliant and profitable projects, with a hands on approach to planning, coordination and client communication. We are open to candidates at both Contracts Manager and Senior Contracts Manager level, depending on experience. Key responsibilities Manage and coordinate multiple passive fire protection projects from mobilisation through to handover (fire stopping, compartmentation, fire barriers and associated remedial works). Plan programmes, labour and resources, working closely with site supervisors and operatives. Ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard, with robust QA and Golden Thread records (product traceability, photos, installation records, inspection records). Lead day to day client communication on allocated projects, tracking actions, reporting progress and resolving issues. Support commercial delivery by maintaining progress records, assisting with valuations, and identifying variations with supporting evidence. Coordinate project documentation and close out, including QA packs, certification, as builts and O&M information where required. Carry out site visits and inspections to maintain standards, productivity and programme performance across live projects. Work collaboratively with Firetech's operational teams, estimators and commercial team to support tender planning and smooth project handover. Skills and experience 5+ years' experience managing passive fire protection / fire stopping / compartmentation works (installation, remediation, refurbishment or maintenance). Strong knowledge of manufacturers' standard details. Experience of passive fire protection third party accreditation schemes, (FIRAS or similar). Strong understanding of quality and compliance requirements, including traceability and record keeping. Confident managing programmes, labour and subcontractors/operatives across multiple live projects. Strong client facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships. Organised, proactive and able to problem solve at pace. Competent with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and comfortable working with digital QA/project systems. Full UK driving licence. Qualifications (preferred) SMSTS NVQ Level 5 or 6 in Construction / Site / Contracts / Ops Management. IFE Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection, or working towards.
