Maintenance Engineer 4on 4off Days

£42,500 Evesham Hands-on Role Training & Progression

If your idea of a good day at work involves reading a PowerPoint about synergistic workflows, this won t be your kind of place.

This job is for someone who wants to get stuck in. Tools in hand. Boots on the floor. Fixing, improving, upgrading not just filling in logbooks and pretending a temporary fix is long-term robust.

You ll be part of a small, busy team responsible for keeping production running smoothly. No dragging your feet waiting for someone else to fix it you are the someone else.

The work is proper: fault diagnosis, electrical maintenance, some light PLC involvement, plus assisting with project upgrades and keeping the site in decent shape.

There s variety think of it as electrical-biased multi-skilling, not pigeonholed panel-twiddling.

Here s what you ll be doing:

  • Planned maintenance and breakdowns ideally fewer breakdowns, thanks to you
  • Spotting opportunities to make the plant run better, not just less badly
  • Supporting upgrades and process improvement projects
  • Looking after building services when needed wiring, lighting, general electrical
  • Occasionally fixing things nobody knew were broken yet (your favourite kind)

What you ll need:

  • NVQ Level 2 minimum and a couple of years experience in a fast-moving environment
  • Decent electrical knowledge (bonus points if you ve touched a PLC inputs and outputs)
  • A brain that spots problems before they become problems
  • The sort of attitude where you get involved and crack on
