In a fast-changing regulatory environment, organizations need a trusted partner to validate their AI, and Warden is quickly becoming the default solution. About Warden AI Warden AI helps HR Tech vendors, staffing firms, and employers prove and improve the fairness, accuracy, and compliance of their AI hiring systems. In a fast-changing regulatory environment, organizations need a trusted partner to validate their AI, and Warden is quickly becoming the default solution. In 2025, Warden grew from 4 to 40 customers. In 2026, we've already more than doubled ARR and are growing faster every quarter. That growth is driven not just by market demand, but by something rarer: a genuine network effect. Customers want to promote working with Warden because it helps them win their own deals. About The Role We are hiring a Full-stack Product Engineer to help build and evolve the core product experiences of Warden's AI assurance platform. The role spans frontend product development and backend services, turning complex analytical and audit workflows into clear, reliable software that customers can trust. You will join an existing engineering team and report to the CTO, working closely with product, data, and customer-facing teams. A strong candidate will bring a solid background in TypeScript and React, helping strengthen the team's full-stack product development capabilities, particularly across TypeScript, React, and Next.js, while contributing to backend systems in Python. Your work will have visible impact on product quality, usability, and reliability across the platform. As one of our early product engineering hires, you will help shape how this role grows over time and take on more responsibility across product development as we scale. What You'll Do Here are a few examples of things you might be working on: Build end-to-end product features, e.g. design and implement new dashboards, workflows, and UI components that help customers understand and act on AI audit results Lead on frontend experiences, e.g. develop polished, accessible interfaces, working closely with product and design to get details right Contribute to backend services, e.g. extend services that power audits, reports, and internal tooling, and wire them cleanly into the frontend Translate product requirements into working software, e.g. break down loosely defined problems, propose pragmatic solutions, and iterate quickly based on feedback Improve product quality and reliability, e.g. fix bugs, reduce edge cases, improve performance, and strengthen type safety and test coverage Collaborate cross-functionally, e.g. work closely with data scientists, solutions engineers, and founders to ship features that solve real customer problems Continuously improve the codebase, e.g. refactor areas you touch, improve developer ergonomics, and contribute to shared patterns and conventions What you should bring A self-starting, get-it-done attitude. You're comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and move from idea to working software without needing constant direction Strong TypeScript and React experience. You've shipped real, user-facing features and care about code quality, usability, and maintainability. Experience with Next.js is a plus Full-stack mindset. You're happy

Legal Knowledge Engineer
White & Case LLP
Our Practice Solutions team leads the Firm's innovation initiatives, supporting our lawyers in client delivery excellence. The team has deep expertise in working with established and emerging technologies, data analytics and data science, knowledge solutions and process re engineering. The Practice Solutions team works with our lawyers to identify innovative solutions to support our clients. Through fostering a Firmwide culture of innovation, we encourage our lawyers to think creatively about how to deliver the best value to our clients and we ensure that White & Case remains at the forefront of advancements in the legal industry. Position Summary We are looking for a Legal Knowledge Engineer to help ensure we drive value from the systems that hold, classify and surface our knowledge. You will use AI to enhance the firm's knowledge, and onboard teams to the firm's knowledge systems. In practice this makes the role part builder, part governor and part translator: building the classification and metadata that make content usable, governing the quality of that work as it scales across teams, and translating what fee earners need into changes the firm's knowledge and AI systems can actually deliver. This role requires a dual skillset. It calls for someone comfortable working hands on with taxonomies, metadata and AI tooling, but equally comfortable working with lawyers to understand how they work and where knowledge is created, lost or duplicated. The firm is consolidating its knowledge estate and connecting that knowledge to the tools lawyers use day to day - this role is central to making that happen. The White and Case knowledge strategy rests on four pillars: clean data, a single system, governed AI assets, and a culture of sharing. Our Legal Knowledge Engineer is the operational role that carries much of that work into individual practices. You will support the implementation of the firm's strategic knowledge system, partnering with PSLs/Knowledge Lawyers and supporting roles to drive value from our knowledge. A primary focus will be on automated classification at scale, the classification playbook resourcing model, and onboarding teams to the new systems. Duties And Responsibilities Classification, Metadata and Enrichment (Pillar: Clean Up Data) Build classification capabilities for teams that need significant support, taking a lead role in their design and working directly with lawyers to validate outputs before they are relied upon Provide a governance layer over classification work carried out by PSLs and other domain experts, so that skills are built consistently, produce good results, and are measured properly rather than assumed to work. Design and run classification at scale so the firm can handle the large majority of tagging and profiling centrally, with domain experts validating the output rather than manually re-profiling document by document. Use AI to enhance the firm's knowledge: reducing the burden of long classification forms, producing draft profiles for PSL review, and enriching content with the metadata that makes it findable and useful. Define practice specific metadata with each team, including their legal topics, document types and the data points that matter to how they practise. Bring rigour to how classification quality is assessed, including the use of gold sets, calibration and review feedback loops, so confidence in a skill's output is earned from evidence rather than asserted. Requirements and Practice Engagement (Pillar: Single System) Work with fee earners and practice groups to understand their knowledge requirements across content, features and data, ensuring those needs inform the firm's knowledge strategy and system development. Act as a point of contact for those who need help leveraging knowledge, supporting them and building up their skills so the firm's classification and curation capacity grows rather than staying concentrated in one place. Interface with Practice Solutions teams to identify where knowledge can be captured or consumed within the tools and workflows those teams own. AI Assets and Downstream Systems (Pillar: Govern AI Assets) Govern the firm's AI assets, including prompts, workflows and skills, so they are portable and vendor agnostic, able to be shared and moved between systems rather than locked into a single platform. Work with downstream systems that consume knowledge, to operationalise the connection of the firm's knowledge into the tools where lawyers do their work. Help ground the output of AI tools in the firm's approved knowledge, so that what they produce reflects firm precedent rather than generic suggestions. Onboarding, Adoption and Culture (Pillar: Build Culture) Onboard teams onto the firm's knowledge systems, helping them get their content, metadata and system configuration into good shape. Work with the Change Management team so that the communications and messaging around onboarding are clear and land with the people they are aimed at. Support efforts to instil a knowledge sharing culture, addressing not just whether people can share knowledge but whether they actually do. Part of this role is helping make knowledge contribution worthwhile and its value visible. Deploy strategies to capture relevant usage and content metrics to drive the firm's knowledge strategy forward. Work with the firm's search tooling at a tactical and feature level to make sure the firm is getting the most out of what it has bought. Look at how lawyers work in iManage and find the points where knowledge sharing and data capture can happen naturally, as a by product of normal work rather than a separate task. Experimentation and Staying Ahead Run experiments on how the firm classifies know how and final work at scale, and turn what is learned into concrete proposals for what to try next. Maintain a working view of where knowledge tooling is heading, including knowledge graphs, retrieval based approaches and the emerging patterns for structuring knowledge so it can be used by machines as well as people, and judge what is worth bringing into the firm's approach. Qualifications You bring a background in knowledge or legal experience, with real technical fluency; or a technical or data background, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholders. Comfortable working with structured knowledge, including taxonomies, metadata schemes and document classification, and an understanding of why getting these right matters. Practical fluency with current AI tooling, including prompts, skills style reusable instructions and classification approaches, and enough understanding of how these behave to judge when output can be trusted. The ability to work directly and credibly with lawyers, drawing out how a team practises and what it needs without requiring them to speak in systems terms. Strong stakeholder engagement across a range of audiences, from individual PSLs to practice group leadership and technology teams. An instinct for measurement and evidence, rather than a willingness to assume that a system works because it was built. Curiosity about where the field is going and the discipline to turn that curiosity into things the firm can try. Legal practice experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement for a candidate strong on the technical and engagement sides. Equally, deep KM experience without any technical confidence is unlikely to be enough on its own, given how much of the role involves building and judging AI driven classification. Location This role is based in London. Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a requirement for 4 days (Monday - Thursday) in the office per week. Firm Benefits We offer a flexible range of benefits, services, and programmes designed to help support your lifestyle requirements. Some of the benefits currently available include: Private medical insurance Pension plan with matched employer contribution up to 7.5% Yearly wellbeing fund Income protection Life insurance Critical Illness insurance Private GP services Travel insurance Dental coverage Cycle to work Holiday purchase (available during annual enrolment) This role reports to Associate Director, Knowledge Solutions Equal Opportunities White & Case is committed to creating a fair workplace. It is our Firm's policy to recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, religion, creed, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other category protected by applicable law. Our Engineering Ways Of Working Our Product and Engineering organisation is structured into four tribes: Custody, Accounts, Experience, and Cloud & Security. Each tribe contains multiple autonomous squads, with clear full ownership over specific product domains. The squads are intentionally small and cross functional, typically made up of an Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and 3-5 engineers with complementary skills aligned to the domain they own. We operate in a build and run model, with teams responsible for the full software lifecycle, from architecture and delivery through to operational support and incident management. Our core platform is built on AWS serverless technologies including Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, S3, and ECS. We primarily develop in TypeScript and Node.js, with MongoDB as our primary document database. We also have a small number of C# services and are continuing to evolve our platform architecture, including expanding our use of ECS Fargate. Infrastructure is managed through a combination of Terraform and Serverless Framework. We use GitHub Actions for CI/CD and incident.io to support our incident management processes and operational workflows. We care deeply about engineering quality, pragmatic architecture, and continuous improvement. If you'd like to go deeper, we're happy to share more about our engineering practices and technology radar during the interview process. The role As an engineer at Seccl you will design, build and operate reliable and scalable, testable and maintainable software solutions, building new functionalities and products using Typescript and Node.js. You play a key role in our software development and have a hands on approach throughout the development process supporting resilient financial workflow systems and regulated investment operations. As a senior member of the team, you are the 'go to' person for queries. On a typical day you will Work collaboratively in a domain aligned cross functional squad made up of engineers and product along with colleagues from customer facing and operations teams Design, implement and operate your services within your domain Be accountable for the SLAs of your products and iterative improvements Maintain and extend documentation for your services Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence while understanding when "good enough for now" is appropriate Provide guidance and mentorship for other engineers Communicate with non technical colleagues to answer queries about the Seccl system What You Need To own your services from design to operation. We operate a build and run model where engineers have autonomy but full accountability. We care deeply about correctness, resilience and operational excellence because our systems underpin real customer investments. Engineers are not passengers in their products but champions. Drive improvements and features while collaborating openly with product, operations and engineering colleagues, challenging ideas constructively and focusing on delivering the best outcomes for customers. Have a strong ability to understand business and customer problems and turn them into efficient, scalable solutions. Be curious about how investment and custody products operate, and pragmatic in balancing customer value, operational correctness, engineering quality and long term scalability. Experience building financial systems with multi region, multi currency or trading related complexity would be advantageous. Experience in a strongly/statically typed language. Have a strong understanding of designing, building, and running high quality, standards compliant workflow APIs, with a focus on testing, observability, and performance. Have worked with a cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP). We use AWS. Have worked with distributed systems and are comfortable debugging through tracing and observability. Willing to be on call for your services. Core Technical Skills You Must Have Strong commercial experience with Node.js, specifically TypeScript Experience with Amazon Web Services Experience with Serverless products Experience with document databases, ideally MongoDB Experience mentoring engineers Experience leading technical delivery in a build and run engineering model Experience in a structured on call process and incident management Experience working in regulated industries, ideally financial services or FinTech. This role isn't for you if You rely on a lot of top down direction. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression, bring forward ideas, and spot opportunities to improve You're not comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Hybrid working based at one of our offices in London, Bath or Edinburgh. Your contract will be hybrid, although we don't currently require a set number of office days. We support flexible working and trust teams to agree how and where they work best, taking a pragmatic approach based on the needs of the role and team. About Us Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform, on a mission to help more people invest, and invest well. We're building the infrastructure behind the next generation of investing. Our technology already powers some of the UK's most ambitious fintechs, banks, financial advisers and wealth firms, with close to a million investors relying on Seccl-powered platforms. And we're now expanding into Europe. We've got a proven product, strong momentum and big ambitions for what comes next: helping more household-name brands launch and scale investment propositions, entering new markets and replacing outdated investment infrastructure with technology that's faster, simpler and built for scale. We're proud to be part of Octopus, one of the UK's most successful privately held investment and technology groups. That gives us the backing and long term perspective to build something substantial, while keeping the pace and energy of a high growth business. Seccl and Octopus are both B Corp certified and share a belief that profit and purpose should go hand in hand. If you want to help shape the future of investing in the UK and across Europe, you'll be in good company. Check out the Seccl website to see what we're building and read more about our mission to shape the future of investments. Our Culture Never settle - We think of ourselves as 'embedded hero-makers' for our customers. We put them first, and if we say we'll do something, we'll move heaven and earth to do it. We think boldly and embrace change. Take ownership - We think rigorously and deeply about a problem, but then charge at it, acting with and urgency and speed that sets us apart. But we never lose sight of quality or long term scalability. Be generous & candid - We encourage our people - and our customers - to challenge us and never shy away from tough conversations. We have a flat and inclusive culture where everyone can be themselves - and speak up. Check out our Glassdoor page for the latest reviews or our LinkedIn for company updates and insights from the team. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen You don't like change.
