This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established and well-respected commercial construction contractor operating across the North West. Specialising in bespoke office fit-out, refurbishment, and design & build projects, the business offers turnkey solutions for a range of commercial clients. Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team in Prescot. The successful candidate will take the lead on pricing and tendering a variety of office fit-out and refurbishment projects across the North West. This is a key role where you will contribute directly to the company's continued growth and client success by preparing accurate and competitive costings.

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for Cat A & B fit-out and refurbishment projects

• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications

• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes

• Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and constraints

• Preparing and presenting tender submissions to the Commercial Director

• Working closely with the project and design teams to develop cost-effective solutions

• Monitoring cost variations and assisting with value engineering

• Supporting contract handovers to ensure clear cost baselines

• Maintaining a database of rates and pricing information

• Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction or interiors/fit-out

• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, building materials, and trades

• Experience with refurbishment or design & build projects is highly desirable

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to conduct occasional site visits

• Competitive salary between 45,000 - 65,000 depending on experience
