Panel Wirer

Location: Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Trafford Park
Shift: 6:30am 3:30pm Mon Fri
Rate: £17.00-£19.00p/h DOE (PAYE / Umbrella)

A leading engineering and automation company is expanding its electrical assembly team in Manchester. With several large-scale, multi-million-pound projects underway, they re seeking experienced Panel Wirers to support the build and delivery of high-spec custom control panels, mechanical/electrical rigs, and pneumatic systems.

The Role:

  • Build and wire control panels from electrical schematics
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly of bespoke systems
  • Perform cut-outs, tray work, and full panel builds from start to finish
  • Work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision
  • Assist in the assembly of electrical and pneumatic rig systems

You ll Need:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation or a related field
  • Proven experience wiring industrial or control panels
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics with confidence
  • Skilled with hand tools and light mechanical assembly
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and adaptable team player
