Production Planner

Our client are a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, who are at the forefront of innovation within the industry. They design, manufacture, engineer, and install environmentally friendly, and sustainable products and solutions to improve sustainability and decarbonisation within the water industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Create and manage production schedules using ERP systems to ensure all manufacturing activities are planned in line with project deadlines.
- Issue and manage works orders ensuring they are correctly started, tracked during production, and closed off accurately in the system.
- Plan and monitor material availability in collaboration with procurement to avoid delays or stock shortages.
- Generate production reports and track KPIs related to output, lead times, and on-time delivery.
- Improve planning processes as the company grows building structure and discipline into the function from scratch.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Confident working with ERP/MRP systems and issuing/managing works orders from start to finish.
- Strong Excel and IT skills able to work with data and support system development.
- Highly organised and proactive able to build structure in a role that s currently a blank slate.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with shopfloor, engineers, and senior management.
