• Day shift position with an early Friday finish!
• Responsible for first off, stage, and final inspection of a range of bespoke precision components.
• Overtime readily available.

Salary: c 17.00 per hour. Days only role.

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within a range of sectors. Training can be provided in certain areas for the right person. We do need someone from a Mechanical / Precision Engineering Inspection background due to the nature of components manufactured within the business.

Quality Inspector Activities & Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional inspection of machined parts to drawings and specifications.
• Inspections to be carried out using manual equipment such as Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, screw ring and plug gauge, height gauges, projector etc.
• CMM experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
• Carry out first off, stage, and final inspection.
• Maintain inspection documents.

Required Skills & Experience as Quality Inspector:

• Proven quality Inspection experience within an engineering environment.
• Understanding of GD+T and the ability to read and understand drawings
• A formal engineering qualification/apprentice trained would be an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Competent using Excel and word.
