The Opportunity
The company is hiring a full-time, permanent Renewables Manager to oversee the customer journey, installation process, and internal operations across solar and heat pump projects.

Based in Bolton, this role involves a mix of office work and on-site presence across the North West. The Renewables Manager will work closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position also includes managing and developing the teams responsible for delivery, as well as improving internal systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the end-to-end delivery of solar and heat pump installations, from customer sign-off to completion

Managing and enhancing the customer journey for all renewable projects

Coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality installs

Supporting scheduling and resource planning alongside the install coordination team

Contributing to the development of internal processes and documentation

Overseeing performance, handling escalations, and ensuring excellent customer experiences

Supporting training and development of engineers and support staff

Acting as the central point of contact for all renewable-related matters

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in solar PV and/or heat pump installations

Background as an electrician or renewable energy engineer is highly advantageous

Strong understanding of technical installation requirements and on-site logistics

Confident in managing teams and resolving challenges in fast-moving environments

Organised, process-driven, and proactive in identifying areas for improvement

Clear and friendly communicator, capable of building trust with both customers and colleagues

Willing to take a hands-on approach when necessary, both in-office and on-site

What's Offered

Salary between £35,000 and £50,000, depending on experience
