Senior Architectural Technician/ Technologist

Location: Hampshire

Salary: 38-45,000 DOE

An award-winning architectural practice, recently ranked in the prestigious AJ100 list for 2025 is looking to recruit a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join its vibrant Hampshire studio. Known for delivering commercially intelligent, design-led architecture across sectors such as residential, healthcare, education, and mixed-use, this nationally recognised practice combines technical excellence with collaborative thinking. Daily Duties:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed technical packages across all RIBA stages
  • Manage and coordinate with external consultants, clients, and internal teams
  • Provide technical oversight on multiple live projects simultaneously
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and best practices
  • Develop and manage Revit models for coordination and delivery
  • Support and mentor junior staff members within the studio
  • Conduct site visits, attend meetings, and resolve on-site technical issues

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or similar discipline
  • Substantial UK industry experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Revit and confident working in a BIM environment (essential)
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects, especially through technical and delivery stages
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
