Temp to 12-Month Contract (for the right person)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: 14.50 per hour
About the Role
Premier Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading production company based in Erith, seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their Transport Department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced team while supporting the delivery of a cost-effective and efficient daily transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and produce daily transport schedules in a cost-effective manner
- Build relationships with sub-contractor partners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport records
- Conduct driver debriefs and follow up on CAPAs including root-cause analysis
- Support the export delivery planning process
- Provide admin support to internal teams and external customers
- Deliver excellent customer service across all touchpoints
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional development
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a Transport Planning role
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive and independent worker who can also operate well in a team
- Customer service experience is desirable
