Job Role: Electrician - Social Housing
Location: East London (Mobile)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Basic)
Spencer & James are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Electrician to join a multi disciplinary main contractor within their property services team.

Your Role:
As an Electrician, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and installation services across social housing stock in East London. Work assignments will be sent via a PDA device, and you ll keep track of jobs and materials with daily work sheets. This is a mobile role, so a full UK driver s license is essential.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical repairs, renewals, and installations in void and occupied properties.
- Maintain high-quality work standards while adhering to schedules.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
What You ll Need to Succeed:
- Full UK Driver s License
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification.
- 18th Edition certification.
- 2931 Testing and Inspection or equivalent (ideal but not mandatory).
- Previous experience in social housing maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional workmanship.
