Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Acoustics Consultant, you will:
- Conduct on-site noise measurement surveys and sound insulation testing.
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical reports.
- Create 3D noise models to evaluate and optimize acoustic performance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to deliver tailored acoustic solutions.
- Work on a variety of projects, ranging from urban developments to industrial and rural settings.
- Gradually take ownership of projects as you grow into the role with mentoring and guidance.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Acoustics or a related discipline (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, or Music Technology).
- Strong academic background in maths and science.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (applications still welcome from those planning to obtain their licence).
A Typical Day in the Role
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Conducting noise surveys and sound insulation tests at project sites.
