Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Acoustics Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct on-site noise measurement surveys and sound insulation testing.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate technical reports.
  • Create 3D noise models to evaluate and optimize acoustic performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to deliver tailored acoustic solutions.
  • Work on a variety of projects, ranging from urban developments to industrial and rural settings.
  • Gradually take ownership of projects as you grow into the role with mentoring and guidance.


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A degree in Acoustics or a related discipline (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, or Music Technology).
  • Strong academic background in maths and science.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (applications still welcome from those planning to obtain their licence).


A Typical Day in the Role

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting noise surveys and sound insulation tests at project sites.
  • Analyzing acoustic data and developing 3D noise models using advanced tools.
  • Writing concise and professional reports to present findings and provide recommendations.
  • Participating in client and project team meetings to share insights and acoustic design solutions.
