Exciting opportunity to join a well-established commercial construction company as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, taking the commercial lead on high-value projects from pre-construction through to final account. Based from their regional office in the Midlands, you'll play a key role in financial management across a broad portfolio of commercial projects, with some travel to sites nationwide.
For an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor, this opportunity offers a clearly defined route to Commercial Manager and ultimately Director level, giving you the platform to move into strategic leadership positions while gaining exposure to flagship builds across the UK. Your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor will include:
- Full commercial responsibility for projects from tender to final account
- Preparing cost plans, valuations, and managing variations and subcontractor accounts
- Working closely with project managers and directors to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Excellent cost management and reporting skills
