M&E Construction Manager (Contract) East Sussex 9 Months
We're partnering with an industry-leading contractor urgently seeking an experienced M&E Construction Manager for a 9-month contract on a large-scale hospital project in East Sussex.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical installation and experience in cleanroom builds.
You'll demonstrate proven accomplishments on large-scale M&E installations, including managing QA/QC requirements and ensuring the timely, compliant development of works from inception through to pre-commissioning.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with the project management team to develop and coordinate mechanical & electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
Leadership: Lead mechanical & electrical engineers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services that meet project requirements and specific timelines.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure all mechanical & electrical construction works meet or exceed project expectations.
Site Management: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address issues, ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations.
Budget Management: Manage M&E project budgets, track allocations, and minimise costs without compromising quality.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation of project development and issues for review or submission.
