One of our long terms clients based in Oldbury are recruiting for X2 experienced wet paint sprayers to join their team following a recent upturn in work due to a big contract they ve won. We re looking for 2 candidates with Wet Spaying experience This will be manual spraying, not automated so need to know how to use a spray gun. Specifically you will be spraying wooden doors however experience of spraying other products such as cars would be desirable. Hours: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3:30pm Friday Pay: £13.13 per hour Initially this will be a temporary role but should this contract continue to do well this will result in more long term work for the right candidates A small spray test will need to be undertaken before starting

Position Summary: We are looking for a Vehicle Sprayer/Painter to join our workshop in Hoddesdon. As a Painter/Sprayer, you will need to be motivated, have a keen eye for detail, take a proactive approach to work and show flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards, adhering to company policies, and ensuring safety at all times. We are a busy bodyshop that carries out repairs on a wide range of vehicles, from cars to tractor units and trailers. Therefore, you must be comfortable with preparing, painting, and spraying both smaller vehicles and large commercial vehicles, adapting your approach as required. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Painting and Spraying: Prepare surfaces and apply paint or coatings using various techniques and tools to achieve high-quality finishes. Surface Preparation: Carry out sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure surfaces are ready for painting. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and ensure proper functioning of all painting and spraying equipment. Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company and client standards. Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and tasks, including overtime or adjusted hours when required to meet project deadlines. Proactive Work Ethic: Identify and address issues or inefficiencies, ensuring continuous improvement in processes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and workplace cleanliness. KEY COMPETENCIES Personal Qualities Proven experience in painting and spraying Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Annual salary of 45,000 depending on experience A 40-hour working week - Monday to Friday 7am-4pm 29 days annual leave plus 3 bank holidays (New Years Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
