Air Conditioning Engineer

We are recruting for a friendly business who are looking for Air Conditioning Engineers in the Kent area.

Responsibilities include;

• Assist with the installation of new systems, and related equipment and ensure safety compliance
• Carry out repairs and deal with breakdowns when they occur, diagnose issues, perform repairs and replace faulty components
• Troubleshoot problems relating to system functionality and feedback to supervisor to promote other business opportunities
• Carry out safety checks to ensure systems meet safety standard, identify potential hazards and address any issues
• Involvement in refurbishments upgrading systems, replacing equipment and optimising energy efficiency
• Being part of the on call team (on rotation) for emergency call outs to provide on call services to address emergency issues
• Responsible for Health and Safety on site
• Completion of risk assessment, RAMs and other required processes to ensure compliance
• Ensure correct use of PPE where required
• Reporting incidents and near misses
• Ensuring the safety of others when completing works
• Carry out the servicing, repair and commissioning of boiler plant, gas appliances and plant room equipment
• Completion of engineer reports, test sheets, service records and other required documentation
• Obtain and log equipment details and part numbers in order to facilitate ordering spares
• Responsible for equipment hired / required on site and its correct logging and return

Candidates MUST have their F-Gas Qualification and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
