Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a CNC programmer/setter/operator (online/offline) working nights in Wolverhampton.

This company is a well-established engineering firm. They are the leading provider of precision engineering services, including multi-axis CNC machining, turning, press tooling, light fabrication and EDM.

Main Purpose and Scope of Job:

• Ensure all products are handled, Milled, and identified in accordance with company working practices and procedures
• Accurate programming, setting, cutting, and identification of materials maximising stock utilisation and minimising any scrap of damage to both customer products and stock
• Maintenance and accurate recording of all details on both the computer-based stock control system and all other supporting documentation
• Promote continuous improvement processes to maximise stock productivity and minimise waste in all operational processes

Knowledge and Skills:

• Programme knowledge
• Ability to read and understand a cutting pattern
• PC Literate
• Valid counterbalance mechanical handling license

This a night shift role : 8:45 pm - 7 am Monday- Thursday

Pay - between 17-20 per hour (+ night shift allowance (time + one third) dependent on skill set)
