Role: Aluminium Class 1 MIG and TIG welders

Rate: 20.59 - 41.18 (p/hr) and annual bonus.

You can grow your skills as we place you on an assignment into our client based in Eastleigh, in a challenging and quality driven manufacturing environment.

Our client is a world leader in Railway Rolling Stock assembly and manufacturing. The facility's activities use the latest manufacturing and computer analysis techniques.

Pay Rate and Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• 2 Shift Pattern (Day shift/Back shift) rotation
• 20.59 per hour day shift
• 24.71 per hour back shift
• Overtime - Monday - Saturday x1.5
• Overtime Sunday - x2

About you:

• Experienced with working on build/welding fixtures to tight tolerances
• Have the ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Be accustomed to modern working practices e.g. following a standard work procedure
• Carry out some manual lifting
• Work with a sense and awareness of safety at all times
• Previous experience of welding aluminium using MIG or TIG

This is an ongoing, long term temporary contract role.

Please be aware that PPE is mandatory on the factory floor. This will include ear defenders, "T" shirts/polo shirts, overalls, safety boots and safety glasses and will be supplied to you.
